Q-12. Sum of two numbers is 2019 and one of them is half of the other find the numbers.
Solution:-
Let the 1st number = X
2nd number = X / 2
A/Q, Sum of numbers = 2019
X + X/2 = 2019
Or, (2X + X) / 2 = 2019
Or, 3X = 2019 * 2
3X = 4038
X = 4038 / 3
X = 1346 Ans.
X / 2 = 1346 / 2
X / 2 = 673
1st No. = X = 1346
2nd No. = 673 Ans.
