Q-13. The sum of two numbers is 910. when one of the numbers is divided by 51. leaves 17 as quotient without any remainder when the other number is divided by 17.

Solution:-

Let the numbers X and Y

1st Number = X

2nd Number = Y

A/Q,  X + Y = 910 --------(i)

One of the number is divided by 51 leaves 17 as quotient

X = 51 * 17

X = 867

Putting the value of X in eq(i)

X + Y = 910

867 + Y = 910

Y = 910 - 867

Y = 43

Now,

Other number is divided by 17 then what remainder

43 / 17

Remainder = 9 Ans.
